stand firm

Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.
Exodus 14:13 AMPC

Have you ever been to the eye clinic where you were asked to keep your eyes open without blinking for some moment? Even though it is uncomfortable, but you don’t have a choice than to pull through by maintaining stillness so that you don’t cause more damages to your eyes. I always dare and hate those moments!

Do you have a similar reaction to life when situations come about?

The obvious thing to do is to run around, frantically trying to stave off the problem or solve it by yourself. That was contrary to what Moses advised the Israelites to do in their dilemma according to the instruction from God in Exodus 14:13
They were worried because they were Caught between the Pharaoh and the Red Sea. He instead encouraged them to STAND FIRM. Boom! What happened when they did? They saw God at work!

May I advise just like Moses did, stop the frantic activity to bail yourself out of that situation. Stop the noise. Stop…and stand firm! Stand still! No backing off. Wait to experience God’s miracle!

Declare it
I am a woman. I am a treasure! I am standing FIRM, POSITIVE, and RESOLUTE to experience God at work in my life.

Prayer
Father, I praise you as the mighty deliverer. I am grateful for the rescue operations that you will do in my sister’s crisis right now. I commit it all into your hands, and I ask for that miraculous turn around of things to the glory of your name.
