I don’t know what you are going through right now but hear it; it says going through, it didn’t say settle in. Going through means you are coming out, and you shall go through whatever it is, successfully in Jesus’ name.
But, listen to God-
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.Isaiah 43:2
He can do that because He is the sovereign God. Which means He made everything and is in control of everything. I call him the ‘in charge.’ He made everything that is created from delicate flowers to a mighty volcano. He made the ant and the humpback whale. He did not just make them He caters for them. He alters the times and seasons. You and I are also part of that creation. He is aware of you and your circumstances; the fortunate and the unfortunate.
Stop! Read aloud Psalm 139 three times. Meditate on those words. Let the words sink into your heart and recharge your mind to transform you.
The question is this, what would it take for you to stop trying to control your life and let God have it? He knows you beyond your wildest imagination. Can you trust Him with your life and your situation?
As for me, I have learned not to strive with Him and not to fret, no matter what is happening or not happening. That is helping me a lot.
